STORRS, Conn. - Senior defensive lineman Sean Marinan (Higganum, Conn.) is this week's Husky profile. Marinan originally joined the UConn team as a walk-on and earned a scholarship during his career.
He is an outstanding student-athlete who was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District team this year. He earned his undergraduate degree in management information systems and is currently a graduate student in sport management. He is also a three time conference all-academic team member.
Marinan has been a regular member of the Huskies' special teams over his career and this year has been a regular member of the defensive line rotation.
