Brian Morgan Signs with Adirondack of the ECHL

STORRS, Conn. - UConn's Brian Morgan (Windham, N.H.) signed a standard player contract this week to join the Adirondack Thunder of the ECHL. The Thunder are an ECHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames.
Morgan transferred to UConn as a graduate student for his final season of eligibility in 2016-17. He finished this past season playing in all 36 games, collecting 14 points on seven goals and seven assists. Prior to coming to Storrs, Morgan played his previous three seasons at the University of Maine. In his collegiate hockey career, he appeared in 139 games, scoring 24 goals with 22 assists for 46 points.
Morgan could make his professional debut this weekend when the Thunder return to action at home, on Friday and Saturday evening against the Wheeling Nailers.
