Opening comment
 "We had too many missed opportunities today that we didn't take advantage of, offensively and defensively and special teams. We had opportunities there that we just didn't finish the game out at the end."
On the effort given by the players compared to last week
"I didn't see guys trigger as fast. I saw some guys maybe not being sure of themselves in terms of cutting loose and making cuts and running the ball…. they didn't play as fast and aggressive as I've seen them play last week."
On the conditions of the game
 "It's hard to throw (in the rain). David doesn't have big hands and he doesn't grip the ball with the laces. So that was one of the things he was having trouble with, gripping the ball. You do what you have to do. No excuses, we just didn't take advantage of opportunities in order to win the ball game."
Closing comment
"What we have do is be better finishers. We just didn't finish the job today."
On his 2018 season – "2018 has been a pretty wild season for me. I had a good spring but then hurt my back, had to work my way back then got hurt again. It feels good being back on the field."
On his team's frustration after the game – "People are really frustrated not only about this game but about the entire season. These are not the results that we want."
On the 4th quarter – "They made some good adjustments at halftime, figured out a good way to attack our defense."
On his reaction to the game – "Yeah it is frustrating. Our defense can't let some of these plays happen."
On his interception – "I saw the green field in front of me, but I felt how slick that ball was and made sure I put two hands on it. I had to make sure we got that ball back to the offense."
On his teams reaction to the game – "It is a disappointing loss but its great motivation to get better for next week."
