No. 1 Huskies Travel to Oklahoma Wednesday

STORRS, Conn. – The No. 1/1 UConn women's basketball (9-0) team returns to action at Oklahoma (3-6) Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1 and the UConn/IMG Radio Network.
The Huskies last played on Dec. 8, when the team won 99-61 over Seton Hall in their last home game of 2018. Senior Katie Lou Samuelson led UConn with 26 points and 16 rebounds, setting a new career high in boards. Connecticut had an 11-day break in between games for finals.
Against the Pirates, Samuelson moved past Diana Taurasi for second in the UConn career record books for career three pointers. With 320, Samuelson sits 78 behind UConn's leader, Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis (398).
UConn is currently in a streak with six of seven games played on the road. After facing Oklahoma, the Huskies have three straight road games at Cal, Baylor and Houston. UConn doesn't play at home until Jan. 9, 2019.
Connecticut has won 124 straight regular season games, including 56 straight in nonconference play.
The Huskies are 11-0 all-time vs. Oklahoma. Head coach Geno Auriemma won his 1,000th game over the Sooners last season on Dec. 19, 2017. OU fell to DePaul, 87-76, in its last game on Dec. 9. This season, Taylor Robertson leads the Sooners with 18.4 points per game while Madi Williams leads the team with 10.0 rebounds per game.
