No. 1 Huskies Return to XL to Host Seton Hall

STORRS, Conn. – The No. 1 UConn women's basketball team (8-0) return to the XL Center to host Seton Hall (7-1) Saturday at 1 p.m. The game will be broadcast on SNY and the UConn/IMG Sports Network.
The Huskies will host their annual Toys for Tots drive vs. the Pirates. Fans are encouraged to bring a new, wrapped toy, which can be donated at the Atrium entrance. Saturday is also Connecticut Day. Fans can purchase tickets to UConn's final home game of 2018 beginning at just $10.
UConn defeated Saint Louis 98-42 Tuesday in senior Napheesa Collier's homecoming game. Collier led the Huskies with 22 points and 11 rebounds while junior Crystal Dangerfield (18 pts, 10 assists) and freshman Olivia Nelson-Ododa (12 pts, 10 rebs) also had double-doubles.
UConn moved to No. 1 in Monday's Associated Press poll. The Huskies have been ranked No. 1 in the AP Poll a record 237 times. After a win over then-No. 1 Notre Dame last Sunday, the Huskies moved to 21-3 all-time in games played between the top two ranked teams.
UConn is 49-10 all-time vs. Seton Hall with the last meeting coming in 2013. The Huskies have won their last 29 games vs. the Pirates. This season, Shadeen Samuels leads Seton Hall with 17.0 points per game and 9.4 rebounds per game. The Pirates are coming off a 90-47 win over Saint Peter's and their only loss of the season came to UCLA.
