Huskies Fall 2-0 to Boston College

NEWTON, Mass. - The UConn women's soccer team lost 2-0 at Boston College on Sunday afternoon at the Newton Campus Soccer Field.
The Huskies (1-3) recorded six of its eight shots after halftime with a pair of chances in the early minutes of the second half. Sophia Danyko-Kulchycky and Liane Keegans each had three shots for UConn. The team earned four corner kicks but could not convert on any of the opportunities.Â
Sam Coffey scored a pair of goals for the Eagles with a tally at 33:15 in the first half and the 72:05 mark in the second.
Up next, the Huskies return home to Joseph J. Morrone Stadium on Thursday, Aug. 30 at 7 p.m. to take on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.Â
