Stevens, Field Hockey Honored at Women’s Hoops Game

STORRS, Conn. – UConn field hockey head coach Nancy Stevens and the Huskies were honored on the court at Wednesday's women's basketball game.
Stevens was recognized for earning her 500th win as UConn's head coach. Stevens is the all-time winningest coach in Division I field hockey with 681 total career wins. She has led the Huskies to three NCAA Championships, 13 NCAA semifinal appearances, 26 NCAA quarterfinal appearances, 18 BIG EAST regular season and 18 BIG EAST tournament titles.
Stevens, along with associate head coach Paul Caddy and assistant coach Cheri Schulz, were tabbed the BIG EAST and Spiideo./NFHCA Regional Coaching Staff of the Year in 2018.
The UConn field hockey team was also recognized after winning the team's sixth straight BIG EAST regular season title and seventh straight BIG EAST tournament championship. The Huskies reached the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament.
