Field Hockey Announces 2026 Schedule

STORRS, Conn. – Head coach Paul Caddy and the UConn field hockey program have announced the Huskies' 2026 schedule, featuring a challenging non-conference slate and BIG EAST competition as UConn looks to build toward another conference championship run.
The Huskies begin preseason preparations in August with exhibition contests against Boston University (Aug. 14), UMass Lowell (Aug. 19), and Boston College (Aug. 22).
UConn opens the regular season on Aug. 29 against New Hampshire before facing Saint Joseph's on Aug. 30. The Huskies continue non-conference action with road contests at Brown (Sept. 4), Harvard (Sept. 6), and Rutgers (Sept. 13).
Conference play begins in mid-September as UConn hosts Villanova on Sept. 18 before welcoming Princeton, Liberty, and Northeastern to Storrs later in the month.
October features key matchups against UMass, Temple, and Fairfield at home, while the Huskies hit the road for contests at Providence, Georgetown, Cornell, and Old Dominion.
The regular season concludes on Oct. 30 against Fairfield before postseason play begins with the BIG EAST Championship, scheduled for Nov. 6-8 at Villanova.
