Morris Named to American Weekly Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Redshirt sophomore setter Courtney Morris earned a spot on the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll following two great performances at the weekend against Wichita State and Tulsa.

Morris matched her season-high with 49 assists against Wichita on Friday night and led the team with 38 assists against Tulsa on Sunday. She finished the weekend with a team-high 87 assists and 10.88 assists per set.

The North Royalton, Ohio native tallied a team-best 30 digs and 3.75 digs per set, as well as three service aces over two games. Morris also recorded five total blocks at the weekend.

On the season, Morris has tallied a total of 631 assists, averaging 8.53 assists per set.
