Swim/Dive Faces Army on Saturday

STORRS, Conn. - The UConn swimming and diving team are back in the pool for its first dual meet in about a month as they take on Army on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 1 p.m. at the Wolff-Zackin Natatorium. The Huskies are coming off a dual meet victory against Southern Connecticut State University back on Oct. 6.
UConn gets into the heart of its schedule in the month of November with four meets over the course of three weekends.Â
The Huskies split a dual meet against the Black Knights last season with the women scoring a 158-142 victory on Oct. 27.
Last time out, Sophomore Alex Chernysh had a solid meet with first place finishes in the 100 and 200 Back while fellow sophomores Katelyn Walsh and Linnea Anderson notched a pair of victories. Walsh took the 100 and 200 Breaststroke and Anderson took the 50 Free and 100 Butterfly.
Numerous Huskies registered first place races in their first collegiate meet with freshmen Gabrielle Low (100 Back), Caitlin Spencer (200 Back), Mia Galat (200 Fly), Billy Regan (100 & 200 Breast), Jason Lee (200 Fly) and McAllistar Milne (200 IM) all earning wins.
