No. 4 Huskies to Open Conference Play at Temple

STORRS, Conn. – The fourth-ranked UConn women's basketball team (2-0) begins American Athletic Conference play early as the Huskies travel to Temple (3-1) Sunday at 1 p.m. The game will be broadcast on SNY/ESPN3 and the UConn IMG Sports Network on 97-9 ESPN.
The game will be played in the Liacouras Center.
UConn is coming off a 64-51 win at Vanderbilt last Sunday. Junior Megan Walker scored 25 points to lead the Huskies in the game.
The Huskies are 13-2 all-time vs. Temple and have won the last 13 matchups. Temple head coach Tonya Cardoza was an assistantcoach at UConn from 1994-2008. Temple assistant coach Willnett Crockett played for the Huskies and is a 2006 graduate of UConn.
UConn has dominated the American Athletic Conference since joining the league ahead of the
2013-14 season. The Huskies have won every conference regular season and tournament title since joining the American. UConn hasn't dropped a game in regular season conference play, and the Huskies own a 104-0 record in American games. Including the postseason, UConn is 120-0 in American games.
