PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Three Huskies captured Olympic Trial cut times on Sunday with Katie Breault (Canada), Will Kearsey (USA & Great Britain), and Josh Wroblewski (USA) all qualified for their respective events.
"Our team took a great step forward today with our guys qualifying for Olympic Team Trials heading into the summer, said head coach Chris Maiello. "This is a steadfast program goal of ours and it's great to see us breakthrough with two qualifiers. I think now that we some athletes qualified that will motivate others to go and get cuts."
Breault notched a Canadian Olympic Trial cut time of 1:02.24 in the 100 Fly. The Canadian Olympic Trials are scheduled for March 30 - April 5, 2020 in Toronto, Ontario.
Will Kearsey and Josh Wroblewski both secured US Olympic trail times with Kearsey swimming the 100 Back in 55.81 and Wroblewski breaking four minutes in the 400 Free with a time of 3:56.93.
The US Olympic Trials are scheduled from June 21 to June 28, 2020 in Omaha, Nebraska.Â
