STORRS, Conn. – The fourth-ranked UConn women's basketball team (22-2, 10-0 American) travels to Orlando to take on UCF (20-4, 9-2) Sunday at 2 p.m. The game will be broadcast on SNY/ESPN3 and the UConn Sports Network from Learfield IMG College.
The Huskies finished nonconference play Monday with a 97-79 win over No. 11 South Carolina. Senior Napheesa Collier racked up 31 points, 16 rebounds and six assists in the game while senior Katie Lou Samuelson added 29 points.
This week, Collier, Samuelson and junior Crystal Dangerfield were named top-10 candidates for their respective positions' top awards. Collier is a nominee for the Katrina McClain Award, Samuelson is up for the Ann Meyers Drysdale Award and Dangerfield is a candidate for the Nancy Lieberman Award.
UConn held its annual Pink Game vs. Temple, but the team's auction benefitting the Kay Yow Foundation is still open at www.uconnhuskies.com/PinkAuction.

The Knights are coming off a loss, 61-59, to Tulane Wednesday. This season, Kay Kay Wright leads UCF with 18.0 points per game while Nyala Shuler leads the team with 7.4 rebounds per game.
