UConn Takes on Louisville in Elite Eight Sunday

ALBANY, N.Y. – The second-seeded UConn women's basketball team (34-2) faces No. 1-seed Louisville (33-2) in the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight Sunday at noon. The game will be broadcast on ESPN and the UConn Sports Network from Learfield IMG College.
UConn advanced to its 12th straight Elite Eight with a 69-61 win over UCLA Friday. Senior Napheesa Collier posted 25 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks. Trailing at the end of the third quarter, UConn outscored UCLA 20-11 in the fourth to take the game. Junior Crystal Dangerfield scored 11 of her 15 points in the fourth.
The Huskies are 19-4 all-time in Elite Eight games. UConn has won 11 straight Elite Eights.
Collier has notched 23 double-doubles this season, including in the last six games. She is UConn's single-season rebounds record holder with 385. She ranks third for total single-season points with 765.
UConn is 17-2 all-time vs. Louisville. The Cardinals picked up a 78-69 win over the Huskies on Jan. 31.
This season, Asia Durr leads Louisville with 21.2 points per game.
