Huskies Celebrate Past, Build for Future During Great Weekend in Storrs
The UConn men's and women's basketball programs were joined by two all-time greats this past weekend in Storrs. The women's basketball program retired Rebecca Lobo's number 50 on Saturday and the men's program retired Ray Allen's number 34 on Sunday. The number retirement ceremonies highlighted a weekend that was full of nostalgia but the Huskies also completed the sparkling Hall of Champions in the Werth Family UConn Basketball Champions Center, which will help navigate the programs to successful futures.
