Huskies Fall to Cincy in Final AAC Tune-up

GREENVILLE, N.C. - The UConn women's tennis team took on American Athletic Conference foe Cincinnati on Sunday at ECU's River Birch Tennis Center in their final tune-up before this coming week's conference championship tournament in Florida. The Huskies fell 4-0 to the Bearcats in a match contested in clinch format.
The Huskies did grab a doubles victory as the freshmen combo of Julieanne Bou (Bayamon, Puerto Rico) and Mireille Moreau (Warwick, Quebec) opened the day by beating Ioana Guna and Anna Philp, 6-0, at No. 2.
UConn will find out their first round opponent on Monday as they head to the USTA National Campus in Orlando for the AAC Tournament. Opening round play gets underway on Wednesday, April 17.
