Dickinson, U.S. U-19 National Team Compete in Germany

STORRS, Conn. – UConn field hockey freshman Lindsay Dickinson competed with the U.S. U-19 Women's National Team over the past week in Dusseldorf, Germany.
Team USA played three matches while abroad. The team fell to the U-18 German team 4-1 on April 18 before tying with the U-18 Belgium team 0-0 on April 20. The U.S. picked up a 4-3 win over the U-18 German team in its final game on April 21.
Dickinson was an immediate starter for the top-five Huskies as a freshman in 2018. She scored once and added two assists for the Huskies while helping the defense hold teams to just a 1.30 goals-against average. The Glenn Mills, Pa., native was a member of the 2018 U-19 National Team.
Sophomore Jessica Dembrowski is currently in Monchengladbach, Germany, with the U.S. U-21 Women's National Team for a 3 Nations Invitational with the U.S. U-21 Germany team and the U-21 Great Britain team.
Former Husky Karlie Heistand '18 just finished a tour of the Netherlands with the U.S. Women's National Development Squad. The team went 3-1, including two wins over the Scotland Seniors, a shootout win over the U-21 Belgium team and a loss to pro club Stichtsche HC.
