Football Loses 56-21 at UCF

ORLANDO, Fla. - The UConn football team (1-3, 0-1 American) scored three second half touchdowns but came up short, 56-21, against the UCF on Saturday night at Spectrum Stadium.
Quarterback Steve Krajewski came on in relief and completed 22 passes on 33 attempts for 273 yards and three touchdown passes.
Cam Ross, Ardell Brown and Matt Drayton all hauled in their first career touchdown receptions.The three touchdown passes were the first touchdown passes thrown for the Huskies of the season.
Kevin Mensah rushed for 123 yards on 23 carries. It is the seventh time in his career that Mensah has rushed for 100 yards or more.
After trailing 56-0 late in the third quarter the Huskies were able to score the final 21 points of the game to carry momentum back home against USF next Saturday, Oct. 5.
