Huskies to Host Villanova on Youth Day

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn women's soccer team (7-6-0, 3-3-0 BIG EAST) hosts Villanova (7-8-0, 1-6-0) Sunday at 1 p.m. at Morrone Stadium.
Sunday is Youth Day at Morrone. Youth teams (8th grade and under) can receive free admission to the game HERE. Signed posters will be available to Youth Day participants.
UConn is coming off an exciting 3-2 overtime win vs. Creighton last Thursday. Sophomore Jaydah Bedoya scored twice as UConn came from behind twice, including her second just 15 seconds before the end of regulation. Freshman Evelyn Arsenault scored her first career goal in overtime to give the Huskies the win.
Villanova is coming off a 5-0 loss to Georgetown Thursday. This season, Chloe O'Neill leads the Wildcats with eight goals, five assists and 21 points.
The Huskies and Wildcats played twice last season. The teams tied 0-0 on March 7 and UConn picked up a win on March 25.
