Huskies Travel to Butler Sunday

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn women's soccer team (5-4-0, 1-1-0 BIG EAST) takes on Butler (9-1-1, 2-0-1) Sunday at 1 p.m. in Indianapolis.
The Huskies picked up their first conference win of the season last Thursday, a 2-1 win at Seton Hall. Jaydah Bedoya notched her second goal of the season while Sophie McCarthy scored her first career goal.
The Bulldogs are coming off a 1-1 tie against St. John's last Thursday. This season, Katie Soderstrom leads Butler with nine goals and 22 points. Emma Martin has started the last 10 games in goal for the Bulldogs and holds a 0.67 goals-against average and .788 save percentage.
UConn is 0-1 all-time vs. Butler. The teams' only previous meeting came last season, a 2-1 win for the Bulldogs in the BIG EAST Championship semifinals.
