STORRS, Conn. – The UConn women's soccer team (5-5-0, 1-2-0 BIG EAST) fell to Butler (10-1-1, 3-0-1), 3-0, in Indianapolis Sunday afternoon.
Sophomore Jada Konte returned to action after missing the last two games and led UConn with two shots on goal.
Sophomore Kaitlyn Mahoney made four saves in goal for the Huskies.
The Bulldogs scored one in the first half before notching two goals in the second half. Butler led 11-5 in shots.
The Huskies are back in action this Thursday at Morrone Stadium against Marquette (7-4-0, 3-1-0). The teams will kick off at 7 p.m.
