UConn Returns to Morrone to Host Marquette

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn women's soccer team (5-5-0, 1-2-0 BIG EAST) returns to Morrone Stadium to host Marquette (7-4-0, 3-1-0 BIG EAST) Thursday at 7 p.m.
Thursday is Huskies & Heroes Night. All military, veterans and first responders will receive complimentary admission to the game.
On Oct. 17, the Huskies will host High School/Youth Team Day vs. Villanova. High school and youth teams will receive free admission to the game. To register a high school or youth team, click HERE.
The Huskies are coming off a 3-0 loss to Butler last Sunday. After Thursday, the Huskies are back on the road at DePaul on Sunday at 2 p.m.
UConn is 2-6-1 all-time vs. Marquette. This is the teams' first meeting since 2012.
The Golden Eagles are coming off a 1-0 win over Seton Hall last Sunday. This season, Rachel Johnson leads Marquette with three goals while Johnson and Elsi Twombly each have eight points. Mikki Easter has started 10 games in goal this season and holds a 0.54 goals-against average and .848 save percentage.
All UConn women's soccer home games and BIG EAST Conference games will be streamed through FloSports, which is the home of the BIG EAST Digital Network. Subscriptions to FloSports are either $30 per month or $150 per year and grant access to every event streamed through FloSports.
