Huskies Prepare To Take On Southern Connecticut State

STORRS, Conn. – The University of Connecticut women's swimming and diving team returns to the pool Saturday December 4 as they take on in state foe Southern Connecticut State University. The meet is set to begin at 1:00 p.m. at Wolff-Zackin Natatorium.
UConn returns to Storrs following a successful trip to Lewisburg Pennsylvania and the Bucknell Invitational. With multiple swimmers including sophomore Niamh Hofland who swam two Big East conference best times in the 1650-yard Freestyle and the 500-yard freestyle.
"I think our team is more focused after this meet for what's ahead. They know how good they can be." Said Head Coach Chris Maiello.
Southern Connecticut travels to Storrs following a loss to Iona in their last meet. Following the meet vs. Southern Connecticut, the Huskies will travel to the University of Rhode Island January 14.
