Three Huskies Receive Hockey East Honors

STORRS, Conn. - Three Huskies were honored with Hockey East post season accolades with Tia Chan and Jada Habisch earning Pro Ambitions All-Rookie team honors and team captain Natalie Snodgrass landing on the Hockey East Third Team All-Stars.
Habisch earns All-Rookie recognition after posting five goals and six assists in her opening campaign for the Huskies. The Buffalo, Minn. native produced a hat trick against Merrimack on December 18. The UConn forward has scored in two of the last three games as the Huskies head into the playoffs.
In goal, Chan was 4-4-1 with a 1.43 goals against average in her debut season with the Huskies. The Hamilton, Ontario native made 239 saves and posted a .948 save percentage.
In 18 games this season, Natalie Snodgrass has scored six goals and added four assists. The senior has scored goals in three of the last five games for the Huskies.Her six goals is tied for most on the team with Savannah Bouzide.
The Huskies now gear up for a Hockey East Quarterfinal matchup against Boston College on Sunday, February 27 at 4:30 p.m. on NESN. The Huskies knocked the Eagles out of the Quarterfinals a season ago.
