Huskies Host PC in Big East Tilt

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn women's soccer team (4-2-1, 2-2-1 BE) will host Providence College (5-1, 3-1 BE) on Sunday afternoon. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00pm at Morrone Stadium.
Last Time Out
The Huskies enter Sunday's matchup after a 2-1 overtime loss against Georgetown on Thursday, March 18th. Sophomore Jacqueline Harnett scored her first goal of the season to tie the game for UConn late in the second half, forcing extra time. The Hoyas would score six minutes into the overtime period to win.
Providence comes to Storrs to play their first game in two weeks after their game against St. John's was canceled. The Friars defeated Villanova 4-0 last time they played on Sunday, March 14th.
Matchup History
UConn and Providence met earlier this season in Rhode Island where the Friars came away with a 2-1 victory. The Huskies still hold a 27-4-1 overall record against the Friars and will look to even the season series on Sunday afternoon.
