Learning Experience
The Huskies season comes to an end after Saturday's loss, but UConn will come out of an unconventional year with plenty of positives to take into next season.
"I told the team before the game how I proud I am of them for choosing to stay with the program this year. I think it is a testament to the program and the team we have that they want to continue to build and grow, even in difficult times like we are in now," said head coach Ellen Herman-Kimball.
"I think today was a big part in our development. Missing a big piece in Caylee [Parker], it was tough, but I never felt that we couldn't capitalize today. Creighton is an experienced team and I think today was a great experience for us and I don't think it will be the last time you see us here."
