STORRS, Conn. - The UConn women's soccer team lost to Buffalo, 2-0, on Saturday afternoon at Morrone Stadium.Â
Buffalo took a 1-0 lead at the 5:26 mark in the first half on a strike from Barberic on a perfectly placed through ball towards the 18.
The Huskies mustered 11 shots on the afternoon but were unable to put the ball in the back of the net.Â
Jada Konte led the way with three shots on the afternoon while Jaydah Bedoya added a pair.
UConn drops to 4-3 on the season and shifts its focus to BIG EAST conference play. The Huskies will open against St. John's at Morrone Stadium on Thursday, September 23 at 7 p.m.
