MSOC squares off against Stonehill College

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn men's soccer team (6-6-2) is set to welcome Stonehill College (3-10-1) for their final out of conference game of the season.
UConn are on a late season surge to make the BIG EAST Tournament as the Huskies have gone unbeaten in their past four matches only giving up two goals with two shutouts. Graduate transfer Michael Stone has been a steady presence in goal for UConn. He has received BIG EAST honor roll twice this season.
The Huskies have gotten positive contributions from their forwards on this unbeaten run. Sophomore Okem Chime has found form as he has scored three goals in four games including the game winner over DePaul last Saturday. Chime was UConn's leading goal scorer last season. Freshman Eli Conway was named as BIG EAST Freshman of the Week for his performances last week at Villanova and DePaul. Conway scored the game winner over Villanova sealing UConn's first road win of the season. Conway has two goals so far in his freshman campaign.
Stonehill is coming off a draw at Central Connecticut State. This is the first all-time meeting between the two programs.
