#10 Huskies Set to Host Boston College

STORRS, Conn. - Â The UConn men's ice hockey team returns home for a one game matchup against Boston College, Thursday October 27. Puck drop is set for 7:05pm and can be streamed on ESPN+.
No. 10 UConn enters the matchup with Boston College posting a 6-1-1 overall record and a 3-1-0 record in Hockey East Action. The Huskies are ranked in the national poll for the fourth consecutive week and have risen to No.10 following their split with No.9 Boston University October 21 and 22.
UConn is returning home following a two-game series vs. No.9 Boston University in Boston in which they went 1-1-0. In the opening game, the Huskies and Terriers battled in an Overtime thriller which ended with Andrew Lucas going one vs. three and firing a shot for the overtime winner.
Boston College enters the matchup vs. UConn posting a 2-1-1 overall record and a 2-0-0 record in Hockey East action. The Eagles are coming off a 2-0-1 week in which they swept the University of New Hampshire and tied Northeastern University.
Thursday will mark the 22 all time meeting between UConn and Boston College. The Eagles lead the overall series with a record of 14-5-2. Last season UConn finished with a 2-1-0 overall record against the Eagles, winning two games in Chestnut Hill, and dropping the lone game at the XL Center in Hartford.
