Leveque, Reid earn All-BIG EAST honors

STORRS, Conn. – The BIG EAST Conference announced its conference awards and All-Conference teams on Wednesday morning with sophomore Mateo Leveque and senior Jayden Reid earning recognition for the Huskies.
Leveque was selected to the BIG EAST All-Conference First Team for the first time in his career. He was named to the preseason All-Conference team after coming off an impressive freshman season where he was awarded BIG EAST Freshman of the Year and selected to the All-Conference Third Team. Leveque finished second on the team with nine points ending his sophomore campaign with two goals and five assists.
Reid achieved BIG EAST All-Conference Third Team for the first in his UConn career. The New York native started in 15 of UConn's 17 games this season at left back logging over 1,200 minutes played. The senior finishes his impressive UConn career with three goals and seven assists as a defender.
