Things to do for UConn fans visiting Myrtle Beach
As UConn Nation descends on Myrtle Beach, South Carolina ahead of the Myrtle Beach Bowl game on Monday, December 19, they'll find plenty of events to entertain them throughout the weekend. From game watches to the pep rally, here's a round up of everything going on this weekend for Husky fans.
Men's Basketball vs. Butler Game Watch

Get ready for gameday at the Myrtle Beach Bowl Pep Rally – the largest pregame party at the beach! Hear from Head Coach Jim Mora, Athletic Director David Benedict and enjoy performances from the UConn Marching Band and cheer team.
Buses from the Hilton to The Hangout will run on a loop:
- From the Hilton to The Hangout: 1:45 p.m., 2:15 p.m., 2:45 p.m., 3:15 p.m.
- From The Hangout to the Hilton: 4:45 p.m., 5:30 p.m.

Myrtle Beach Bowl Fan Fest
Monday, Dec. 19Â | 11:00 a.m.
Fans can enjoy a variety of free activities outside of Brooks Stadium on the Coastal Carolina University campus. University Blvd. will open to foot traffic only shortly after 9 a.m. and the Myrtle Beach Bowl Fan Fest will start at 11 a.m. and run just before kickoff time at 2:30 p.m. Music, food, vendors and interactive fun will all be available for the entire family.Â
Pregame TailgateÂ
Monday, Dec. 19Â | 12:00-2:00 p.m.
Patterson Field (tennis courts adjacent to Brooks Stadium)
Join fellow UConn fans for food and beverages before the game at the official UConn pregame tailgate! Registration required.
Fans who register for the tailgate will have the option to add round-trip bus transportation from the Hilton to the stadium. Buses will depart from the Hilton to Brooks Stadium starting at 11:30 a.m. and return to the Hilton with the last bus leaving one-hour post-game.
