Mikyla Rodgers Wins Second BIG EAST Honor This Season

STORRS, Conn. - UConn junior Mikyala Rodgers (South Huntington, N.Y.) was named the BIG EAST Field Athlete of the Week for the second time this indoor season.

Rodgers earned her third win of the season in the weight throw, topping the championship field at the Rutgers Open. The Junior tossed a personal-best mark of 19.81 meters in the event, the farthest BIG EAST throw of the week and second best on the season.
