HookC Heading To College Park For NCAA Regionals

STORRS, Conn. - After capturing a BIG EAST Tournament crown for the second-straight season, the UConn baseball team viewed the NCAA Selection Show on Monday afternoon and were selected as a No. 3 seed in the College Park, Md. Regional.
The Huskies will play No. 2 seeded Wake Forest on Friday, June 3 at 1 p.m. on ESPNU. This is the 23rd NCAA Tournament for the Huskies and their fourth-straight.
No. 1 seeded Maryland hosts the tournament and will play No. 4 seeded Long Island on Friday at 7 p.m.
UConn enters the NCAA Regionals with the second most wins in program history with 46. The Huskies won 23 true road games and 26 games away from home this season.
This is the eighth NCAA Regional the Huskies will compete in under the leadership of head coach Jim Penders. All eight Regionals have come since 2010.
