Huskies Earn USTFCCCA Academic Honors

STORRS, Conn. - The UConn men and women's track & field programs were named 2022 USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams this week for posting a team GPA over 3.0 this season. In addition, 13 total student-athletes from both teams were named USTFCCCA All-Academic Athletes.
The UConn men, the 2022 BIG EAST Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field Champions, earned a spot after posting a cumulative team GPA of 3.16 on the season. On the women's side, the Huskies, the 2022 BIG EAST Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field Champions, finished with a team GPA of 3.37.
Earning All-Academic honors for the men was Kevin Cawley (Massapequa, N.Y.), Daniel Claxton (Nesconset, N.Y.), Gabriel Fountain (Manchester, Conn.), Benjamin Grosse (Wayzata, Minn.), Christopher Lepore (Trumbull, Conn.), Travis Snyder (Saco, Maine), Stephen Sutton (Trumbull, Conn.), Colin Winkler (Barkhamsted, Conn.)
For the women's team, earning All-Academic honors was Randi Burr (Westerly, R.I.), Emma Chee (Bainbridge Island, Wash.), Emily Lavarnway (Ovid, N.Y.), Mia Nahom (New Milford, Conn.) and Taylor Woods (Marlboro, Md.).
