Natalie Snodgrass Returning Home to Play Professionally

STORRS, Conn. - UConn grad student Natalie Snodgrass will continue her hockey career as she has officially signed a one-year deal to return home and play professionally with the Minnesota Whitecaps of the PHF league.
"Getting the chance to play for my home team in front of my friends and family is what's going to make this year a special one for me, and I can't wait to get started," stated Snodgrass.
Natalie Snodgrass (Eagan, Minnesota) cemented herself in UConn Women's Hockey record books this past season. Since she stepped foot on campus, Snodgrass has impacted the Huskies and that did not change in her graduate season. Snodgrass was a vital member to the Huskies leading them on the offensive end of the ice. Natalie played in all 37 games for the Huskies, scoring 12 goals and adding 17 assists for 29 points. With her 12 goals on the season, Snodgrass officially became the programs All-Time leading scorer with a total of 70 career goals. In her collegiate career, Snodgrass played in 170 games scoring 70 goals while adding 69 assists for 139 total points.
While her collegiate career has ended, Snodgrass is leaving UConn women's hockey as one of the most decorated athletes in program History. Natalie finishes her career as the programs leading scorer, second in career points, and second in career assists. In addition, Snodgrass leaves UConn having been named to the Hockey East All-Rookie Team and Honorable Mention All-Star in 2018, 2020 Second team, and Honorable Mention All-Star in 2022.
