Cornell, UConn To Square Off At Madison Square Garden In The Frozen Apple Game

NEW YORK, N.Y. -- The UConn Huskies will take on the Cornell Big Red in the fifth annual Frozen Apple game on Saturday, Nov. 26 at 8 p.m. at Madison Square Garden. The first-ever matchup between the teams will take place on the grandest of stages – The World's Most Famous Arena.
Tickets for The Frozen Apple will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 23 through Cornell's athletic ticketing site, CornellBigRedTickets.com and at MSG.com.
This will be UConn's second appearance at the historic New York City arena, having faced Quinnipiac in a MAAC match-up and "Heroes Hat" game in March, 2003.
The announcement of UConn's match-up with the Big Red rounds out the Huskies 2022-23 schedule. The Huskies are set to open the season on October 1 and 2 with a two-game Hockey East series at Vermont. Â
