Public Skating Returns to Toscano Family Ice Forum

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn Department of Athletics has announced that public skating will return to the Storrs campus this year at the newly opened Toscano Family Ice Forum.
Admission for the public skating sessions will cost $8, while skate rentals will cost $7. If any patrons wish to have their ice skates sharpened before attending the public skate, the service will be available for an additional $8 charge. Students wishing to rent skates will be able to on a first come first serve basis.
Public skating at the rink events are currently scheduled for November 23 at 5pm, 6pm, 7pm and 8pm, December 21 at 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, and 7pm, and December 26 at 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, and 5pm. Additional open skating opportunities and dates for the public will be announced at a future time.
There is no opportunity for walk-up reservations. All sessions are 40 minutes. Rental skates are available for $7 per pair per session and Skate sharpening is available at $8 per pair and must be pre-purchased with your reservation. Schedule is subject to change due to weather and other conflicts. Max occupancy is 50 skaters. No refunds.

- Rental skates available in sizes 9 youth-14 adult men
- Space is limited in the skater locker room area. Anyone accompanying a skater, but not skating, must watch from the fan section upstairs in the Arena
