MSOC heads to No. 8 Georgetown

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The UConn men's soccer team (6-4, 2-1 BIG EAST) travels to No. 8 Georgetown to take on the first place Hoyas. Kickoff is set for 1:00pm and will be streamed on FloSports.
UConn is currently sitting in second place at 2-1 in the East Division in the BIG EAST right behind Georgetown (3-0). Both teams possess fire power as the Huskies and the Hoyas rank towards the top of the conference in all offensive categories. Sophomore midfielders Pierce Bateson and Nicolas Tomerius have been the engine to the Huskies midfield this season. Bateson ranks fifth in the conference in shots with 27 this season. Tomerius has four assists this year ranking fifth in the BIG EAST.
Georgetown (7-1-1) comes into Saturday's match on a five game winning streak. The Hoyas have won the last four matches against the Huskies. The all-time series is 14-14-4.
