Travis Snyder Awarded Big East Men's Field Athlete of the Week Honors

STORRS, Conn. - The Big East conference announced Travis Snyder to the Men's Field Athlete of the Week award. This is his second-straight Big East award this indoor season. Â
In the pole vault, Snyder holds the top two pole vault jumps in the Big East and ranks 13th in the NCAA. He recently broke the school record last weekend at the Dr. Sander Columbia Challenge by improving his program best record from last year with a 5.47m jump.Â
Snyder competes this weekend with the Crimson Elite meet on Friday and the Scarlett and White Invite on Saturday. Â
