White-Out Game: Fans Encouraged To Wear White

The UConn men's basketball program customarily celebrates its Senior Night at a pregame ceremony before the final home game of the season.
This season, however, since the Huskies' final home game is not scheduled to take place on campus, Senior Night will be celebrated on Wednesday, Feb. 22, when UConn entertains Providence in its final home game at Gampel Pavilion. In additional to Senior Night festivities, fans are also encouraged to wear white for the White-Out game.
Tipoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., with the Senior Night ceremony set to begin at approximately 6:10 p.m.
Although the NCAA has granted an optional extra season of eligibility to those juniors and seniors who went through the seasons affected by the Covid pandemic, UConn honors those players who have either exhausted their eligibility or will earn their degree at the end of the academic year.
This season, UConn's Senior Night will honor graduate student Joey Calcaterra, seniors Tristen Newton and Nahiem Alleyne, and redshirt junior Richie Springs.
