MHOC Announces 2023 Mitchell Award Recipient

STORRS, Conn. - The UConn men's hockey team and head coach Mike Cavanaugh have announced that Rick Carbray is the 2022-23 Mitchell Award Recipient. The Mitchell Award is named after long time supporters of the program Jimmy and Jane Mitchell.
The UConn Men's Hockey Mitchell Award is given to a non-staff member who supports the program in multiple facets. Carbray a '75 graduate from UConn school of pharmacy has been a key contributor to our program, most recently being instrumental in helping with the Toscano Family Ice Forum.
"It is our pleasure to present Rick with the Mitchell Award," said head coach Mike Cavanaugh. "The support Rick has shown our program has not gone unnoticed and we are truly blessed to have him a part of the program."
