No. 10 HookC Set to Play Fourth-Straight Weekend Doubleheader at Villanova

PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. - The No. 10 UConn baseball team (30-11, 6-3 BIG EAST) hit the road for a three-game series at Villanova (11-28, 5-7 BIG EAST) this weekend at Villanova Ballpark.All three games will be streamed on FloSports and MIXLR.Â
Due to weather, the Huskies and Wildcats will play a doubleheader on Friday, April 28 beginning at 11 a.m. The series finale will be played on either Saturday or Sunday depending on weather.Â
For the Huskies, they will be playing a doubleheader for their fourth-straight weekend and their fifth of the season.Â
UConn is coming off its second shutout of the season with a 9-0 victory against Rhode Island at Dunkin' Park.in Hartford.
The Huskies are tied for second place in the BIG EAST with Creighton with a 6-3 mark. Xavier leads by one-game with a 7-2 mark in the league.
UConn is 41-26 all-time against the Wildcats and have won 15 of the last 17 meetings against Villanova. The Huskies took two out-of-three in Storrs last season.Â
The 14 wins for the Huskies is tied for fourth most in the country (Xavier, 17).Â
