HUSKIES CONTINUE TO EXCEL IN THE CLASSROOM

STORRS, Conn. – Five University of Connecticut athletics teams posted a perfect 1000 multi-year Academic Progress Rate, while 10 teams sported perfect 1000 APR scores for the 2021-22 academic year, as announced by the NCAA on Tuesday.
"Our student-athletes continue to give their all both in the classroom and in competition, and they're tremendous representatives for the University of Connecticut," said Director of Athletics David Benedict. "I'm proud of their continued hard work and I'd like to thank the Student-Athlete Success Program for working diligently to continue to put our student-athletes in the best position for success. We have a great team effort at UConn to earn both degrees and championships.
Four-year multi-year scores include data from the 2018-19 academic year through 2021-22. UConn's overall institutional APR for the 2021-22 academic year stood at 985.
Teams that posted perfect multi-year APR scores were men's golf, women's basketball, women's soccer, women's tennis and women's volleyball.
The 10 teams that recorded perfect 1000 single-year APR scores in 2021-22 were: men's basketball, men's golf, men's soccer, women's basketball, women's cross country, women's rowing, women's hockey, women's soccer, women's tennis and women's volleyball.
13 squads posted multi-year APR scores of 980 or better.
