15 Huskies Named to All-Academic Team

STORRS, Conn. - The Hockey East Association announced their annual academic awards for the 2022-23 season with 15 Huskies selected to earn All-Academic team honors.
Hockey East announced that a record 202 student-athletes have been named to the Men's All-Academic team. Each student-athlete achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or better in each of the two academic periods during which he was actively competing.
Of the 15 Huskies selected, rising senior Hudson Schandor (North Vancouver, British Columbia), and Matthew Pasquale (North Reading, Mass,) were named three-time honorees.
Two-time honorees included Jake Flynn (Bridgewater, Mass.), Ryan Keane (Coppell, Texas) and Aidan Metcalfe (Palos Verdes, Calif.).
Earning the academic honor for the first was Jake Black (Pomfret, Conn.), Tristan Fraser (West Vancouver, British Columbia), Tabor Heaslip (Frisco Texas), Roman Kinal (Waterford, Michigan), Tom Messineo (Westwood, Mass.), Justin Pearson (Nashua, Jake Percival (Avon, Conn.), Samu Salminen (Helsinki, Finland), and Jake Veilleaux (South Windsor, Conn.).
