No. 9 Huskies Return to Gampel to Host DePaul

STORRS, Conn. – The ninth-ranked UConn women's basketball team (15-3, 7-0 BIG EAST) plays its first game in Gampel Pavilion since Dec. 6 against DePaul (10-9, 2-4) Saturday at 2 p.m. The game will air on SNY and the UConn Sports Network (FOX Sports 97.9).

Saturday's game is Superhero Day. UConn will celebrate some local superheroes, including children from Team Impact and Connecticut Children's.
The Huskies' Jan. 27 game vs. No. 19 Notre Dame is a WHITE OUT! All fans coming to the game are encouraged to wear WHITE. The game will air on FOX at 8 p.m. as part of FOX Primetime Hoops.
Redshirt junior Paige Bueckers scored a season-high 32 points to lead UConn past Seton Hall, 83-59, on Wednesday. Bueckers shot 12-17 from the floor (70.6%) and added seven rebounds, three assists, two blocks and a steal. The Huskies trailed 23-21 after the first quarter but outscored Seton Hall 30-10 in the second to take a 51-33 halftime lead.
The Huskies are 23-1 all-time vs. DePaul, including 23-0 under head coach Geno Auriemma. Last season, Aaliyah Edwards averaged 19.5 points in UConn's two wins over DePaul.
DePaul beat Xavier, 79-47, on Tuesday. This season, Anaya Peoples is leading the Blue Demons with 17.6 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. Head coach Doug Bruno is in his 38th season at DePaul.
