No. 8 UConn, No. 15 Notre Dame to Face Off Saturday on FOX

STORRS, Conn. – The eighth-ranked UConn women's basketball team (17-3) hosts No. 15 Notre Dame (14-4) Saturday at 8 p.m. in Gampel Pavilion. The game will air on FOX and the UConn Sports Network (FOX Sports 97.9).
The Huskies will honor the 2003, '04, '13 and '14 National Championship teams in a pregame ceremony for the 20- and 10-year anniversaries of the Huskies' wins. The 2013 and '14 teams will be inducted into Huskies of Honor at halftime.
Both ceremonies will stream live on the UConn women's basketball X and Facebook pages.
Saturday's sold-out game is a White Out! All fans attending are encouraged to wear white. It's also $2 Miller Lite Night in Gampel.
UConn moved to 9-0 in the BIG EAST with an 85-59 win at Marquette on Tuesday. Redshirt junior Paige Bueckers led the Huskies with 26 points on 11-of-18 shooting and added two rebounds, five assists, two blocks and two steals. Senior Aaliyah Edwards had her eighth double-double of the season with a game-high 12 rebounds and 10 points. All five UConn starters scored in double digits.
UConn is 39-14 all-time vs. Notre Dame. Notre Dame beat UConn, 74-60, in last year's meeting between the teams. UConn has two Indiana natives on its roster: sophomore Ayanna Patterson (Fort Wayne) and freshman Ashlynn Shade (Noblesville).
Notre Dame fell to Syracuse, 79-65, on Thursday. This season, freshman Hannah Hidalgo leads the Irish with 23.9 points 5.6 assists and 5.4 steals per game. Maddy Westbeld leads the team with 9.4 rebounds per game. Head coach Niele Ivey is in her fourth season at her alma mater.
