No. 11 UConn Travels to Villanova Wednesday

STORRS, Conn. – The 11th-ranked UConn women's basketball team (17-4, 9-0 BIG EAST) will look to bounce back at Villanova (13-7, 6-3) Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. The game will air on SNY and the UConn Sports Network (FOX Sports 97.9).

UConn fell to Notre Dame, 82-67, last Saturday in Gampel. Senior Aaliyah Edwards paced the Huskies with 23 points and 11 rebounds for her ninth double-double of the season.
UConn is 42-18 all-time vs. Villanova. The teams faced off three times last season: twice in the regular season and in the BIG EAST Tournament championship game. Villanova travels to Storrs, Conn., on Feb. 28.
Villanova beat DePaul, 95-64, in Chicago on Sunday. This season, junior Lucy Olsen leads the Wildcats with 23.6 points per game, which ranks sixth nationally. Head coach Denise Dillon is in her fourth season at Villanova, which is her alma mater.
