» The Huskies hit the road for their final game of the first half of the season vs. No.3 Bos-
ton College.
» The Huskies are coming off a 1-1 weekend vs. #15 UMass Lowell. The Huskies secured
their first road win on Friday nov.22 as they defeated Lowell by a final of 4-1.
» Junior Ryan Tattle has had an impressive start to the season as he is currently tied for
the team lead in points. Tattle has five goals and five assists for 10 total points. Joining
Tattle at the top of the stat sheet is sophomore Joey Muldowney who has four goals and
six assists for 10 points.
» The Huskies are currently second in the country with 4 shorthanded goals scored. Additionally, 5 on 5 hockey has been a strength for the Huskies scoring 28 of their 42 goals.
» The last matchup between the Huskies and Eagles was Nov.15 which featured two game
misconducts, multiple penalties and despite a three-goal 3rd period from Boston College, the Huskies came away with the 5-4 victory.
» Defense putting their bodies on the line: The Huskies blue liners have sacrificed their
bodies multiple times to stop a puck. John Spetz, Tom Messineo, Viking Gustafsson
Nyberg and Nick Carabin have combined for 68 blocked shots.
» The Huskies have received a point from 23 total skaters. Of the 20, 11 are new members
of the Ice Bus.
» Despite adding 14 new faces, in that group comes 4 transfers from NCAA D1 schools.
Hugh Larkin joins UConn from Western Michigan, Nick Carabin joins the Huskies from
Princeton, Tyler Muszelik from New Hampshire, and Viking Gustafsson Nyberg comes
from Northern Michigan.
» Huskies in the NHL: Chase Bradley has become the 8th Husky to reach the pros, having most recently been called up by the Colorado Avalanche. He joins, Ruslan Iskha-
kov, Yan Kuznetsov, Todd Krygier, Cole Schneider, Max Letunov, Adam Huska, and
Tage Thompson as former Huskies to make it to the league.
