No. 15 Huskies to Host No. 20 Creighton Monday

STORRS, Conn. – The 15th-ranked UConn women's basketball team (22-5, 14-0 BIG EAST) plays its XL Center finale against No. 20 Creighton (21-3, 12-2) Monday at noon. The game will air on FOX and the UConn Sports Network (FOX Sports 97.9).
With a win Monday, the Huskies would clinch at least a share of the BIG EAST regular season championship.
The Huskies picked up an 85-44 win over Georgetown on Senior Night in Gampel on Friday. Senior Aaliyah Edwards led UConn with 26 points, 16 rebounds and four steals.
Following the senior ceremony, redshirt junior Paige Bueckers and graduate student Aubrey Griffin announced they will return to UConn in 2024-25. Both were eligible for the 2024 WNBA Draft.
UConn is 8-0 all-time vs. Creighton. The Huskies picked up a win in the first game this season, 94-50 in Omaha. Redshirt junior Paige Bueckers led UConn with 24 points, seven assists and four steals.
Creighton has won its last 11 games since playing UConn on Jan. 3. The Bluejays beat St. John's, 71-51, last Friday. This season, Emma Ronsiek leads Creighton with 18.1 points per game.
