BSB Resumes Season With Pair of Midweeks

STORRS, Conn. - After having a rare off weekend during in the college baseball season, the Huskies return to the field on Monday, April 1 against Central Connecticut State at 3:05 p.m. at Elliot Ballpark followed by another home game on Tuesday, April 2 matchup against Columbia at 3:35 p.m.
The Huskies are 9-15 on the season after going 7-11 in the month of March. UConn dropped a pair of midweek games last week with losses to Boston College and Northeastern.
UConn looks to bounce back against CCSU on Monday. The Blue Devils are 6-12 on the season and will face RHP Stephen Quigley, who is coming off a complete game performance against Rutgers last Sunday.Â
The Huskies are 36-9 all-time against CCSUÂ and are riding a seven-game winning streak in the series.Â
The Lions enter Tuesday's matchup with a 9-12 record (game Sunday vs. Penn) and are 2-3 against the Huskies all-time. The Lions had a massive comeback against the Huskies last season in NYC with Columbia coing back from a 12-0 deficit to win 19-14.
Korey Morton leads the Huskies with a .324 batting average and 33 hits and 16 runs batted in.Â
UConn is 1-2 at Elliot Ballpark this season and are looking to get back to winning ways as the Huskies are now 51-11 all-time in their home ballpark.
